He's almost 3.  Less then 10 days shy of 3.

I've had this saying in my head for a while.  The picture was inspired by many others I've seen on Pintrest.  I'm fortunate to be an at home mom and able to see everything my little guy does and experiences.  I caught him during a rare quiet moment the other day when we were out on a hay ride.

A good friend and I took my little man out for a hike in the beautiful fall colours.  He LOVED it.  Exploring, climbing, checking out new scenery.  A little man`s ideal morning !

If you're looking for me when I retire....

This is where you will find me.

Every time I'm there, I have a sense of

 "THIS is where I belong".

We took our little man for his first EVER visit earlier this month.

My handsome husband doesn't generally want to pose for photos... but I caught him outside reading and relaxing while our boy played in the sprinkler.  I captured this image, that really shows how handsome he is.  But don't tell him I'm bragging about him... it might go to his head, making him more difficult to photograph in the future..haha  :)

My boy, who is always a challenge to photograph since he rarely sits still and is always on the move.  My mom used to ask me why I always got pictures of him eating... I said it's because it's one of the only times he's still !

Now I've learnt to cut the food out of the shot...haha

These images are ones that my family will treasure.  My son, who you've seen on the blog from time to time had the special opportunity to have both sets of grandparents in one city at the same time- which never happens.
We live in Kamloops- my parents live in Calgary, and my in laws live in England- so needless to say, having 4 grandparents was total and utter   B  L  I  S  S  for my little guy.

I know that these are photos he will treasure for the rest of his life.  We did this shoot in Calgary.
