Wednesday

And one other gem that I missed during my initial edit.  I love this one of my boy with his "sleeping baby"  his beloved baby has been with him pretty much since birth.  I love that in this photo my boy, who is now 3 and always seems to look so grown up looks more like the little boy of past months.   I love the older stages, but I do miss the little boy stuff too.

Out today with a fellow photo enthusiast and her little ones, we stood on deserted roads, we played near barb wire fences, we petted stray dogs, we danced, we posed, we photographed, we had fun.

September is coming to a close, but the weather here in Kamloops is still pretty good.  This afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing this adorably stylish little dude.  I asked his mom to jump in for a few shots.  As the mother of a boy, I'm partial to these kind of warm, affectionate images.
My favorite has to be this first one.
I love seeing a beautiful smile on a mother's face as she looks at her happy child.
As a photographer I love to capture that emotion, and as a mother, I hope my son sees that smile and love coming from me to him everyday.

These images are from the last family session I posted.  I thought they deserved their own blog post because they were so cute.  The two older boys were just goofing around, and I was able to capture these fun images.

I'll title the series of shots....
Spontaneous Kiss-Fest
:)

One of the things I always say I want to capture is emotion.  I love being able to shoot the un-posed fun moments that kids sometimes just give you.  This has been one of the
B  E  S  T
set of images I think I've been able to capture.  Definitely personal favorites for me !

We did this beautiful Mommy's photos in two settings.  Kamloops weather is typically beautiful from April on, but we've had a wet few weeks, so this session was rescheduled a few times! Finally we got our outdoor shots done- such a nice family, and such a beautiful bump.
